This workshop supported students at St Patrick’s National School in Diswellstown, Castleknock, Dublin 15 in making more informed choices around sustainability and fast fashion. Through a combination of facts, game-based learning to support numeracy and oracy, and a practical tie-dye activity, students transformed old, unwanted clothing into something new. The workshop was a rewarding experience for both the students and myself, with meaningful learning taking place for everyone involved.
